Fire Control received multiple calls reporting a vehicle on fire and mobilised one fire engine from Newton Abbot and one fire engine from Torquay.
On arrival crews confirmed that the vehicle was fully involved in fire.
Final details were confirmed at 17:09 as one vehicle off of the public highway involved in fire. The engine bay was 100% damaged by fire. Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera and also used one hose reel jet to dampen down dry vegetation surrounding the area.
