A fire crew was sent to a report of a car fire near Godney, Wells, Somerset. On arrival crews confirmed this vehicle was well alight and the fire had spread to some hedgerow and willow trees. A water bowser and off road vehicle were also requested to attend.
Crews extinguished the fire using:
- 2 breathing apparatus
- 2 hose reel jets
- 1 main jet
The vehicle was 80 per cent damaged by fire and the cause was accidental.
