Vehicle fire

Fire Control received multiple calls reporting a car on fire and mobilised one appliance from Middlemoor, Exeter.

On arrival crews confirmed one small vehicle was well alight on the road and got to work with two breathing apparatus, one thermal imaging camera and one hose reel jet. The Police were requested to attend due to the location of the vehicle.

The final details were confirmed as one single vehicle on carriageway involved in fire, crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera. The fire was believed to be accidental in origin.
