Fire Control received an emergency call reporting a vehicle on fire in the Ashleigh Road area of Barnstaple, the on-duty crew was immediately mobilised.
After booking in attendance, crew confirmed the vehicle was well alight and got to work using 2x breathing apparatus, 1x hose reel jet and 1x thermal image camera to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire was deemed accidental and unfortunately the vehicle sustained approximately 80% fire damage.
