Fire Control received a call to a report of a vehicle on fire in East Pennard, Shepton Mallet and mobilised crews from Castle Cary.
On arrival crews confirmed one vehicle was well alight and suffered 100% fire damage.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one compressed air foam jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire which was confirmed to be accidental.
