Fire control received several 999 calls reporting a car fire on a busy dual carriageway in Torquay. Two Fire engines were sent and on arrival crews confirmed this vehicle was well alight. A Water Bowser was then requested to assist with supplying water.
The fire was extinguished using:
- 2 Breathing Apparatus
- 2 Hose Reel Jets
- Small tools
- Hydraulic tools
The car was totally destroyed by fire and the cause was accidental.
