Fire Control mobilised the on-duty crew from Danes Castle and Middlemoor to report of a vehicle on fire on the A38 eastbound.
Once in attendance, crew confirmed that the catalytic converter on the vehicle had caught fire and got to work using 1x hose reel jet to extinguish. The cause of the fire was accidental, National Highways was also in attendance for this incident.
