Fire Control mobilised crews from Castle Cary and Shepton Mallett alongside water carrier from Yeovil to reports of a large vehicle on fire in the Evercreech area.
Upon arrival, Crew confirmed that there was a small fire within the exhaust unit of the lorry and stood down the crew from Yeovil.
The fire within the exhaust unit had managed to self extinguish, crews used a thermal image camera to monitor the vehicle and an environmental pack to contain a small oil leak.
This incident is still on-going.
