Fire Control received a report of a tractor on fire so mobilised crews from Bampton, Tiverton and Danes Castle to the incident. On arrival crews confirmed that there was one farm vehicle well alight on the public highway. Crews used two hose reel jets, small tools and environmental packs to extinguish the vehicle.
Crews confirmed 100% fire damage to the vehicle. The cause remains unknown.
