Fire Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Taunton and Bridgwater to several reports of a vehicle on fire in the Bridgwater Retail Park.
Once the first crew booked in attendance, they confirmed 1 car was well alight in the centre of carriageway.
Crew got to work and extinguished the fire using 2x breathing apparatus, 1x hose reel jet and 1x compressed air foam jet.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
