Fire Control received a call to reports of a large vehicle on fire.
1 Fire engine from Appledore and 1 from Torrington were sent to the location.
On arrival, crews confirmed this to be a large excavator, well alight.
Crews got to work to extinguish the fire by using 1 breathing apparatus wearer, 2 hose reel jets, 1 safety jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and small tools.
The vehicle was severely damaged by fire.
