Fire Control mobilised crews from Cullompton and Wellington along with a Flexi Duty Officer to reports of an occupant stuck within a vehicle in flood water in Hemyock.
A Police Officer was already in attendance prior to fire crews booking on scene. They donned on flood suits and confirmed that one vehicle was sat in fast flowing water.
Crews were able to successfully rescue the occupant of the vehicle with 4x fire fighters in flood suits and 1x triple extension ladder.
