Crews attended a property which had been reported by a neighbour due to a smoke alarm sounding and a smell of smoke. Crews gained entry to the empty property, and confirmed a small fire in the first floor bathroom involving towels and toilet roll. Crews entered the property using 2 breathing apparatus, and 1 hose reel jet. Crews removed the burning items to open air, and checked the property with thermal imaging cameras.
The cause of the fire was deemed as accidental.
