We received a 999 call reporting a bedroom on fire in a domestic property. Three fire engines were immediately sent. On arrival crews confirmed that this was an end of terrace property and there was a confirmed fire in a first floor bedroom. Crews used the following to extinguish the fire:
- 4 Breathing apparatus
- 1 Hose reel jet
- 1 Safety jet
- Thermal image camera
- Smoke clearance fan
The bedroom was 100 per cent damaged by fire and there was 20 per cent heat and smoke damage to the first floor. The cause was believed to be accidental.
