Two fire engines from Barnstaple, were sent to a reported property fire. On arrival crews confirmed this fire was actually outside in the garden and was involving some seating and a pergola. Crews extinguished the fire using:
- 2 Breathing apparatus
- 1 Hose reel jet
- 1 Thermal image camera
- 1 Smoke clearance fan.
The garden furniture and pergola were totally destroyed by fire and there was also some damage to the windows and doors of the property. The cause of the fire was accidental.
