Fire control received a call to a domestic property fire in Stoke Sub Hamdon this afternoon.
Fire crews from Yeovil and Crewkerne were mobilised. Along with the aerial from Yeovil and a further appliance from Sherborne was also mobilised.
The fire was contained to 1 room. Crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 1 safety jet, 1 smoke curtain, 1 thermal imaging camera, 1 positive pressure ventilation fan and small tools to extinguish.
Final details - fire in listed building consisting of 3 floors. 20% fire damage to compartment and moderate smoke damage to the rest of the property.
