Property fire
Fire Control received a call reporting smoke coming from the roof of a property and mobilised three crews from Minehead and Williton.
On arrival crews confirmed the fire was involving domestic lithium batteries and got to work with two Breathing Apparatus and one Carbon Dioxide Extinguisher.
At 15:33 a request was made for an aerial ladder platform to attend to assist crews, this was mobilised from Taunton.
At 17:37 the final details were confirmed as a fire in a domestic bungalow, fire involving solar panel cables in utility room cupboard. 75% severe damage to room of origin and 25% smoke damage to the remainder of the property. The fire was extinguished using Breathing Apparatus, Carbon Dioxide Extinguishers and a Thermal Imaging Camera.
