Property fire

Fire Control mobilised the on duty watch at Torquay to a report of a dish washer smoking in the St Marychurch area of Torquay. The occupant of the house had managed to switch the dishwasher off and opened the windows to their kitchen prior to the arrival of the Fire & Rescue Service. 

Crew confirmed that there was a small fire that was out on arrival and carried out an inspection. They then moved the dishwasher from inside the property to open air for safety.
