Crews from Burnham-On-Sea was mobilised to reports of smoke coming out from an upstairs window of a domestic property.
Once in attendance, they confirmed that some objects was left on top of a cooker.
Crews used 1x hose reel jet, 1x safety jet to extinguish the fire and carried out ventilation for smoke clearance using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
The cause of the fire was deemed accidental.
