Appliances attended a fire in a conservatory, which was smoke logged on arrival of crews. 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation were used to put the fire out. Crews rescued 2 tortoises from the conservatory. One male occupant was suffering with minor smoke inhalation and was given advice. The property was smoke damaged, and the cause of the fire was accidental. Duty of care was left with the occupant.
