Fire Control mobilised the on-duty crew from Greenbank to report of flooding in a basement flat that was affecting the electrics.
Crew confirmed that water was entering the ground floor of the property from street level which was caused by a blocked drain. Crews attempted to clear the drain using chimney rods. Crew also requested the attendance of local highways to inspect the area and to clear the drains.
