Vehicle fire

Fire Control received several reports of smoke seen in in the area of Knowle Industrial Estate and immediately mobilised crew from Braunton.

Once in attendance, a request was made for an additional 2x fire engines and 1x water carrier, both of these was mobilised from Barnstaple.

This incident consisted of 5x vehicles that were 100% destroyed by fire in a workers yard which caused some slight heat damage to the guttering of an adjacent building. Crews used 4x breathing apparatus, 1x Compressed Air Foam jet and 1x hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
