Fire Control received a report of a tractor in a field well alight. Two fire appliances from Yeovil and the water carrier and a fire appliance from Sherborne was mobilised.
Upon arrival crews confirmed the tractor was well alight in the field. Fire crews used two hose reels jets and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
The tractor was 50% destroyed by fire. All persons were accounted for and no injuries.
