Fire control received a call from the Ambulance reporting a Road Traffic Collision with 1 person still within a vehicle.
Control mobilised 2 Fire Engines one from Glastonbury and one from Street along with the Heavy Rescue Unit from Glastonbury as well as a supporting officer.
Once in attendance crews confirmed a 2 vehicle RTC with 1 person still trapped within on of the vehicles.
Crews successfully managed to extricate the casualty using Stabilisation equipment, Small Tools and 3 Sets of Hydraulic Rescue Equipment.
The casualty was left in the hands of the Ambulance service.
The scene was left in the hands of police.
