Fire Control received a call from Devon and Cornwall Police asking for assistance with a road traffic collision in Yealmpton, with reports of the driver still within the vehicle.
2x crews from Greenbank were immediately mobilised alongside an officer.
Once crews got in attendance, they confirmed that one car had left the roadway and collided into a hedge. Crews have closed the highway and are working to stabilise the vehicle.
At 18:43 - Crews have successfully stabilised the vehicle and are now at work with road traffic collision equipment to release the driver
At 19:36 - Crews succesfully rescued the driver of the vehicle using cutting equipment, stabilisation equipment and small tools. This incident has now been handed over to the Police.
