Crews from Chard and Ilminster are in attendance at a three vehicle road traffic collision with one person still inside one of the vehicles, at Church Street, Chard. Hydraulic cutting equipment in use in order to carry out a full roof removal to access the casualty. Crews currently assisting ambulance crews in getting casualty on to long board and they will then be taken to hospital by land ambulance.
Request the public avoid the area due to ongoing incident.
Final details ... Crews have now left the scene. Three vehicle road traffic collision, one female casualty removed from vehicle by fire crews using hydraulic cutting eqpt and taken to hospital by ambulance. All vehicles made safe.
