Fire Control received a call to attend a road traffic collision involving one car and one heavy goods vehicle and mobilised crews from Middlemoor, Exeter and Danes Castle, Exeter.
On arrival crews confirmed that there was a two vehicle road traffic collision involving an HGV and a small vehicle with one female casualty still within the small vehicle being assessed by ambulance crews.
Crews extricated the female casualty using hydraulic equipment and was conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
