Road traffic collision

Fire control received a 999 call from two people trapped in their vehicle after it had left the roadway. Three fire engines were sent and on arrival they confirmed this vehicle was in a ditch being supported by trees, with the occupants still inside. Crews stabilised the vehicle and then used cutting equipment to remove both occupants, who were then handed over to the Ambulance crew on scene. Police were also in attendance.
