Fire control received a call from police requesting fire service attendance at a Road Traffic Collision in the Orchard Portman area of Taunton.
Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Taunton and a supporting officer.
Once on scene crews worked under the direction of ambulance who were providing treatment to the occupant of one vehicle. Crews used E-draulic equipment and small tools to extricate this casualty.
The road will be closed for a considerable amount of time.
