Road traffic collision

Crews from Torrington and North Tawton were mobilised following a request from the Ambulance to an RTC in Winkleigh where a pick up truck landed on its side trapping the driver. Crews worked alongside paramedics to extricate the driver, who was mechanically trapped, into the hands of paramedics to be checked over. The incident was under control at 0015hrs and once crews made the vehicle and scene safe, duty of care was left the Police.
