Road traffic collision

A 7yr old boy was badly injured after a crash at Grandfields Westonzoyland Motorcross Track in MIddlezoy earlier this afternoon, after he was thrown from his motorbike and collided with concrete rubble. 2 fire appliances from Bridgwater attended the scene and worked alongside paramedics to extricate him into the hands of air ambulance paramedics, whereby he was immediately air lifted to hospital. Once the scene was made safe duty of care was left with staff. The incident was brought under control at 13:20hrs.
