One Fire Appliance from Shepton Mallet was mobilised along with an appliance from Avon Fire and Rescue Service (Paulton) to assist at a road traffic collision in Ston Easton involving one vehicle in collision with a wall. One passenger was trapped inside the vehicle and crews liaised with Paramedics to form a plan for extrication of the casualty. Fire Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools to remove the door and the casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
