Fire control received a call from ambulance reporting an RTC involving a car and a van.
Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Trowbridge and Frome along with and a supporting officer.
Once on scene, crews confirmed RTC involving van and car with 1 person trapped in each vehicle.
Crews confirmed that 1 person from the car involved has been removed and now in the hands of the ambulance service. Crews also at work removing bulk head of van using small tools to aid extrication of the trapped person.
Final update - Crews confirm both trapped persons have now been extricated and handed over to ambulance for onward travel and the incident has now been handed over to the police.
