Road traffic collision

2 crews from our Plymstock and Greenbank stations in Plymouth were mobilised to the A379, junction with Broxton Drive in Plymouth, following a call from a passing motorist reporting a one vehicle RTC, where the the vehicle had come to rest on its side, trapping the driver inside. 

Crews set to work stabilising the vehicle before assisting Ambulance paramedics with the extrication of the casualty in to their care.  They then made the vehicle and scene safe, leaving duty of care with the Police, who remained on scene carrying out traffic duties and keeping the scene safe until the vehicle was recovered.
