Fire Control received a call from Ambulance reporting a road traffic collision involving 2 cars on the A358 at the roundabout near Bishops Lydeard. Two fire engines from Taunton attended.
Fire crews confirmed a 2 vehicle road traffic collision with 1 female passenger trapped in the front seat. Fire crews removed the roof of the car using hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools. The casualty was released from the vehicle on a spinal board and conveyed to hospital by Ambulance. Crews left the incident in the hands of Police.
