A fire engine from Burnham-on-Sea and a specialist rescue team from Bridgwater were called to a horse rescue in the early hours of this morning, just after 5am, in the area of Highbridge.
One horse was rescued from a mud and water filled ditch using a telehandler and the technical rescue team and confirmed as being uninjured.
