Property fire

2 fire appliances from Chard and Axminster were mobilised to Halcombe in Chard following multiple calls reporting a fire in a workshop containing motorbikes. A further fire appliance from Ilminster was mobilised to assist after the first crew arrived on scene and confirmed the building was well alight. 

The incident was brought under control at 2100hrs and whilst it did effect an adjacent car and a fence crews worked well to prevent the fire from spreading any further. In total they used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 1 safety jet, ceiling hooks,  a thermal imaging camera and small tools to extinguish the fire, which started accidentally. Unfortunately the workshops and contents were completely destroyed but there were no casualties.
