Fire control received a call reporting smoke that was coming from a derelict building in Exeter
Control immediately mobilised 2 fire appliances from Danes Castle, Exeter.
Once in attendance, crews confirmed that smoke was issuing from the first floor and crews were looking to gain access to investigate using 1 triple extension ladder and 1 hose reel jet.
Once access was gained, crews confirmed a small fire had been lit within the building on ground floor which was extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and a scotty pack. This fire was confirmed to be deliberate.
