Fire Control received multiple reports of a garden shed that was on fire in the Broadclyst area and immediately mobilised crews from Danes Castle and Middlemoor.
Upon arrival, crew confirmed that the garden shed was well alight.
Unfortunately the fire was involving batteries from an electric pushbike which has spread to further equipment in the shed and affected the guttering and fascia boards of the house.
The fire was deemed accidental, extinguished using 2x breathing apparatus, 1x hose reel jet, positive pressure ventilation and a gas monitor.
