Property fire

Fire Control received a call reporting hay bales on fire within a barn and mobilised fire engines from Chulmleigh and South Molton and a Water Bowser from Danes Castle, Exeter.

On arrival crews confirmed that there was a small fire within a barn involving small farming tools and bales of hay and confirmed that the Water Bowser would not be required to attend.

At 23:39 crews were dampening down and making steady progress.

At 00:03 18/5/25 the final details were confirmed as a fire involving hay bales and small tools causing 5% fire damage to the building, hay bales removed from the building, one thermal imaging camera and one hose reel were used during the incident.
