Property fire

Fire Control received a report of a shed on fire in the Sampford Arundel area and immediately mobilised 2 fire engines from Wellington.

Shortly after booking in attendance at scene, crew confirmed that there was a small fire within a wood shed measuring approximately 3m x 2m. 

Crew successfully extinguished the fire using an attack jet with the water fed from a nearby pond using a light portable pump, with the shed sustaining 20% fire damage.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
