Fire Control received a report of a garage on fire so mobilised two fire engines. On arrival crews confirmed one double garage well alight so requested a further fire engine to assist.
Crews used the following equipment to extinguish the fire:
- Two breathing apparatus
- Two hose reel jets
- One covering jet
- One thermal imaging camera
- One safety jet
- One short extension ladder
The fire is now out. Crews confirmed it was one double garage measuring 8m X 8m involving household items and electric bikes. The garage was 70% damaged by smoke and 40% damaged by fire.
The cause is accidental.
