Fire control received a report of smoke and flames issuing from a commercial property at the above location.
Crews arrived and were immediately presented with a three storey commercial property with smoke and flames issuing at the rear of the property. Shortly after arriving, an assistance message was receiving requesting the attendance of further fire appliances bringing the total to 6. This was shortly escalated to 10 pumping appliances and 2 aerial ladder platforms. Police and ambulance are currently in attendance assisting fire crews. Currently crews are using

- 3 hose reel jet
- 2 attack jet
- 1 thermal imaging camera
- 3 safety jet
The fire was located in the kitchen area of the restaurant and spread to an adjacent property. The restaurant suffered 25% fire damage and 50% smoke damage. The property next door had 100% smoke damage 20% fire damage and 30% water damage.
One appliance in attendance, crews are checking for hotspots with a thermal imaging camera.

Additional information to the above is just to confirm that following fire investigation the cause was determined to be accidental and there were no casualties.
