Property fire

The Fire Service received a call to a chimney fire at the above location.  One fire engine from Glastonbury attended.

Upon arrival, crews confirmed a 2 storey semi-detached property with a fire within the chimney stack that had a wood burner.

Fire crews extinguished the fire from the hearth using one hose reel jet and chimney equipment.  The fire was contained to the flue but fire crews removed the wood burner to check for any fire spread.  This incident was left in the care of the occupant.
