Two fire engines from Middlemoor and one fire engine from Danes Castle responded to reports of smoke logging and alarms sounding in a restaurant in Exeter.
Crews confirmed that there was a fire involving chopping boards in a dumbwaiter lift, which the crews accessed using small tools and a lift key.
Crews dealt with the incident and handed it over to the Restaurant Manager.
