Fire control received a call from Tintinhull, Yeovil this afternoon. Fire crew from Martock were mobilised.
Crews confirmed a grass fire in the field after an overhead electrical cable had come down in the field.
National grid were requested to attend whilst fire crews dampened down the surrounding area.
Fire crews then made pumps 3 for additional water. Crews from Crewkerne and Yeovil were then mobilised.
Crews used 2 hose reel jets, 1 45Mil jet and 2 thermal imaging cameras.
