Fire control received multiple calls to two seperate fires both in close proximity to a railway line this afternoon.
Crews from Taunton and Williton were mobilised separately to the 2 fires.
Williton made quick progress with scotty packs and beaters to extinguish the fire and then proceeded to assist with the nearby larger fire that was involving a grass field.
Crews used 4 hose reel jets, beaters and buckets to extinguish.
