Barn Fire

Fire crews are currently tackling a fire involving a barn in Dennington, Somerset. 4 Fire engines and a Water Carrier are on scene. 

Firefighters used Compressed Air Foam, hose reel jets and attack jets to extinguish the fire. The barn contained tools and machinery and a local telehandler was used to remove items from near the barn to reduce fire spread. Dry CAFS was used to protect nearby thatch property. The incident will shortly be scaled back to 2 Fire Appliances.
