Both fire engines from Greenbank attended reports of a property fire in the above location.
On arrival, crews confirmed that the fire was located in a waste paper bin on the ground floor of a shared accommodation and used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus sets to extinguish the fire.
There was minimal fire damage, but 100% smoke damage to the lounge area.
The cause of the fire was deemed accidental.
