The fire service were called to a report of a chimney fire at the above location. One fire engine from Minehead was mobilised to this incident. On arrival crews confirmed this was a chimney fire involving a wood burner. Crews got to work from the hearth with chimney gear and small tools. A further fire engine was requested to attend for people power, this also proceeded from Minehead.
Crews continued to work from the hearth and the roof using chimney gear and safety when working from height equipment.
